A Cardigan Complete
Please excuse the extreme number of pictures above, but this mama is enjoying the fact that this sweater is off my needles and onto that little man - just in time for our weekend rain storm! My front rows of ribbing are far wider than the pattern calls for, but I needed more width, so I just kept knitting and knitting. There was no way this sweater was going to be too small, and now it has enough positive-ease for a good bit of growing that I know is soon to come. And, well, that hood fits nicely up and over that pile of curls, too. When he walked up to his little friend and asked, 'Do you like my new sweater? My mama made it for me!', I was a bit embarrassed on the outside, but inside I was so tickled that he seemed to love this bit of mama-made goodness.
