In Bloom

As we awoke this morning, one of the first things I heard when making the morning coffee and listening to NPR is that the snow will be counted in feet, not inches, this weekend in Denver.  Here in San Diego, the weather couldn't be more different. We have had extremely dry, warm temperatures for this time of year, and despite what Punxsutawney Phil has to say, I believe our wintry days may be gone.  In the garden right now, we are seeing blooms several weeks, if not a solid month, earlier than previous years.  Now, if that little groundhog is correct our trees and plants might be in trouble sending out those blossoms for our early viewing, but I sure hope he's wrong.

  1. Some of my favorites. Thank you for sharing. It is unsettling to have things so early this year.
