With the start of the New Year upon us, now is a great time to start your perpetual journal. I saw this idea in a magazine somewhere, but not sure what magazine, or even where it was.
It is a way to gather the happenings of each of your days in a short, concise, analogue-Twitter sort of way.
Each day holds its own card, and I thought it would be fun to look back over the years and see what exactly was happening in our lives on that particular day. If daily seems too much for you, a weekly note would accomplish the same thing.
I used an old stationary box, but you really can use any sort of box or container you can find. This one rests on my nightstand, and at the end of each day I jot down a few thoughts on our day's happenings.
It's a fun project, and I encourage each of you to start your own.
Happy New Year, Friends!
